It may be noted that the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has granted permission for flying hot air balloons at Assolda, Avedem, Darmapur, Sarzora in Salcete and Shrvoi in Quepem.
GTDC has sought permission for the same in Sarzora, but it was rejected by the panchayat. Sarpanch Jacinto Fernandes told Herald that the villagers are furious at the idea of hot air balloon flying in the village.
