MARGAO: Sarzora gram sabha chaired by sarpanch Jancinto C F Fernandes began on a stormy note on Sunday before tempers cooled down and the gram sabha progressed with the sarpanch taking up the proposals put forth by members after confirmation the minutes of the previous meet.
Proposal to put up a gate on the road to the isolated lake at Sazora was accepted by sarpanch who promised to take up the matter with the WRD. The development of the internal road from Sarzora to Minfol-Chinchinim pending for the last 20 years was also discussed. The sarpanch also said the garbage along the Sarzora-Dandewaddo road would be cleared and that roadside bushes would also be trimmed.
