VALPOI: Sattari Bhumi Putra on Saturday hailed the decision of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to hand over the ownership of houses to the Sattari’s sons of the soil residing on Gavthan, Alvara and other government lands since the past several years.
During the Budget session of the Goa Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister had stated that the government will come out with a law which would provide ownership of houses on Alvara, Gavthan, Forest and other government lands to the sons of the soil.
“We welcome the decision of present government to provide the ownership of land, where the Goans have built their houses especially on Gavthan, Alvara and Forest land,” said Adv Ganpat Gaonkar.
