Speaking to Herald, Chief Town Planner Dr S T Puttaraju said that the plan for Sattari and Canacona talukas are ready and the same will be placed before the TCP Board for approval on December 9.
“The entire process of the talukas, including the site inspections, is complete and the plans are ready. TCP board has to grant its approval, before forwarding the same to the government,” he said.
SLC had received over 300 applications from Sattari and 450 from Canacona with suggestions and comments to rectify the plan.
During the second round of public inputs, 6500 applications were received with comments and suggestions, most being from Salcete (1260) and Bardez (1030). The first round of public inputs was held during the Congress regime.
Government intends to notify the entire RP 21 by December 31.
