Sattari Excise Department swoops down on illegal liquor stash.

The Sattari Excise Department on Sunday seized liquor worth Rs 10,500 at Surla-Sattari.

According to sources, illegal stock of liquor worth Rs 10,500 was found in a bar at Surla.

The raid was conducted by a team of excise officials led by Excise Inspector Hanumant Dessai. Other team members included excise officials Devu Raut, Krishna Gawas, Tulshidas Gaonkar, Uday Gad, Rajendra Naik and Rajendra Naik.

It may be recalled that Sattari Excise Department had recently raided two places in Budruk-Karmali and had seized liquor worth about Rs 1,000.
