CURCHOREM: Satyam Singh from Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem, has topped in Curchorem Centre with 96.5% in the SSC examination.
Satyam of Pontemol-Curchorem and son of Shyam and Priya Singh scored 99 marks in Maths and Science and 97 marks in Social Science.
Speaking to Herald, Satyam said he wants to pursue his higher education in IT and become an IT professional. He owes his success to his hard work besides all the teachers, parents and friends who supported and motivated him.
In all, 172 students have passed from GAHS and secured 91 per cent results with 37 students securing distinction.
Headmaster Fr Walter Miranda and the PTA members have congratulated the students for getting good results.
