VALPOI: Savarde villagers have been facing the acute water shortage since last three days, due to which they are forced use rain water for drinking and other domestic purposes.
“Two days ago we have complaint to the water supply department at Valpoi about water shortage. But they have not taken any action till the date,” said Raghu Gaonkar, a villager.
“We are facing acute water shortage since last three days. Despite several complaints, the water supply department has not taken any action. Therefore, we will lead a morcha to the water supply department,” said Radhika Gaonkar, a village woman.
