PONDA: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Thursday said that Dharbandora Taluka, which is a mining belt area, henceforth would be also known for educational hub. Besides, it would be developed also as a tourism destination.
The Chief Minister was speaking after laying of foundation stone for educational complex of Sateri Pisani Educational Institute.
PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar said that the government is making all efforts to provide infrastructure to Dharbandora Taluka including roads, water supply, power supply and other basic facilities.
He lauded contribution of former MLA Gaonkar, Tendulkar towards development of educational field in Dharbandora through government support.
He said, “First Chief Minister of Goa Bahusaheb Bandodkar was responsible for educational development and successive government contributed including former Chief Minieter Manohar Parrikar.”
