PONDA: Looking at the election results and performance of regional parties in various States, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party leader and Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Sunday said that even in Goa at the forthcoming 2022 Assembly elections there is a bright future for the regional parties and for that there is need to unite by all of them including the newly formed parties.
“Only the regional parties can protect interest of the States and for that the regional parties should show their unity to the Goans. In order to get success, all the leaders of regional parties should unite and form their front to lead Goa,” said Dhavalikar.
He said, “Considering the huge response to regional parties for Assembly elections in various States namely Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, the regional parties in Goa should unite forgetting their differences.”
“MGP is oldest party and ready to take forward even new parties for which they need to unite for a common cause,” he said.
He also said that the national party Bharatiya Janata Party is slowly falling behind in their performance and they should introspect as to why the people are staying away from this party.
