PANJIM: The Supreme Court of India has set aside the order of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), Special bench, for demolishing allegedly illegal part of the Curlies beach shack and night club situated at Anjuna.
The Court said in its order that the NGT erred in passing its order dated September 16, 2022, ‘without the presence’ of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) thus denying the owners of the property an appropriate opportunity in putting forth its contentions.
Incidentally, part of the club was demolished in September last year.
