PANJIM: South Asia Foundation on Saturday launched the micro-finance scheme for the artisans of North Goa at Kala Academy in the presence of more than 100 SHG leaders and nationalized banks’ officials.
Governor of Chhattisgarh Shekhar Dutt S M while launching the micro-finance initiative emphasized on promoting artisans work and effective micro-finance support to the artisans of Goa. He said that NABARD and Nationalised Scheduled Banks-can play a big role for promoting artisans of Goa.
On the occasion, artisans Francisco Martins, Vijay Jadhav and Rukmini Harijan were honoured.
