PANJIM: The Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has introduced twelve schemes for workers in Goa which will directly confer monetary benefits on the working class. The schemes will also help workers in moulding the career of their children.
The 12 schemes are Maternity benefit, Pension benefit, Grant for purchase or construction of house, Disability pension, Loan for the purchase of tools, Funeral assistance, Death benefit, Medical assistance, Financial assistance for education, Financial assistance for marriage, family pension and Interim relief to the beneficiaries affected by disasters.
