PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday through a message said that with the support of Adhyayan Foundation, the Shaala Siddhi School evaluation programme has been made more robust to enable data driven decisions to lead change in school education.
“What makes this unique is that the assessment involves every school teacher, parents, students as well s the Directorate of Education personnel. We are on a mission to transform government schools so that every child in Goa receives an education that develops their potential to be socially conscious citizens and positive contributors of the 21st century,” said Parrikar.
He said, “Together we can create a mindset of excellence in all our schools.”
The Chief Minister further urged the schools and the external assessors to look honestly at themselves and their schools, and develop strong action plans for change.
