PANJIM: Noting that the institutions are not uploading the complete information of their teachers on the web portal as mandated, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has warned to take serious action including imposing penalties, if the failure continues.
In a circular issued to heads of all recognised secondary and higher secondary schools, GBSHSE said, “It is observed that Heads of institutions are not uploading the complete information of all the teachers on the web portal, which leads to overburdening the other teachers.”
The Board has also said that the failure to upload the details leads to delay in completion of confidential work with cascading effect on delay in declaration of results.
The schools are now therefore directed to update the information of the teachers on or before September 16.
Subject details and Teacher details in all subjects including separate entry for Social Science I and Social Science II, Mathematics and Science in different mediums CWSN, Prevocational and NSQF subjects for SSC and all General, Vocational, CWSN and NSQF subjects for HSSC are required to be filled in.
“Failure to comply will be viewed seriously and may compel to impose penalty and even take action under Goa Prevention of Malpractices at University, Boards and other specified Examination Act of 1991,” GBSHSE secretary Bhagirath Shetye said.
