PANJIM: Goa Sudharop, a USA-based non-profit Goan diaspora organization working for the betterment of Goa and Goans since 2000 will organise “Science Day”, at the CIBA centres in Verna on January 16 and at Assagao on January 17 respectively.
The free event and will be held for 200 girls between the age group of 11-15 in order to encourage them to study science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Goa Sudharop has teamed up with CISCO (USA & India), Greenlight for Girls (Belgium), and the Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA, Goa).
The workshops will cover topics such as “Engineer for a Day”, “Breakdown and Rebuild a Computer”, “3D Designing & Printing”, “Physics Fun Lab”, “Human DNA Extraction”, and “Robotics”. For further information, email ibondesouza@gmail.com.
