MAYEM: National Science Day and understanding adolescent health and education programme were recently organised at Government High School, Tarmatha Bhile, Surla.
The students displayed various projects like disaster management, electroplating, electromagnetism, law of momentum, etc. Teachers Sneha Gauns, Soniya Parab and Nutan Govekar were in-charge of the programme.
Science teacher Pramila Naik spoke on the occasion.
The students performed magic show based on science. Arts and drawing exhibitions were also organised.
Later, adolescents health and education programme was conducted by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) in association with Sai Life Care, an NGO, with its ‘Manthan Project’. Resource persons, Rajmohan Nair and Dinesh Desai, spoke on adolescents health and education for teachers, parents and students.
