VASCO: A scooter rider Ram Narayan Seh (34), a native of Nepal died on the sport after he came under the rear wheel of a moving tanker at Verna- Margao highway (NH17) early morning on Thursday.
The Verna police informed that the victim was heading towards Margao from Verna on his scooter. When he reached opposite to Hotel Goan Maharaja at around 6.20 am, a water tanker, which was also heading towards the same direction, suddenly took a right turn. This resulted in the scooter rider to losing his control and ramming into the rear wheels of the tanker.
The Verna police have registered an offence against the driver of the tanker, under Section 279 and 304 (A) of IPC.
