MARGAO: Shahabuddin Shaikh (23), an under trial prisoner, who had escaped through the toilet of open ward while undergoing treatment at Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (IPHB) Bambolim in November 2021 and arrested recently by Colva Police, was remanded to 14 days judicial custody and sent back to Colvale Jail.
He is involved in a theft case reported in Colva Police Station jurisdiction. Police have remanded him to judicial custody after producing him before the Margao court. Maina-Curtorim Police had arrested Shahabuddin along with seven bikes.
