Scooterist dies in mishap

PERNEM, JUNE 1
A 35-year-old scooterist from Chandel-Pernem died in a road mishap on Monday morning.
According to Pernem police, the accident occurred when one Anand Ganesh Gad, who was proceeding on his scooter (GA-03-A-8896), met with a self-accident and was seriously injured.
Anand was rushed to GMC Hospital in Bambolim, where he succumbed to severe head injuries. After conducting the autopsy, the body was handed over to his relatives for final rites.
