BICHOLIM: A 58-year-old news reporter from Nanoda, Bicholim was killed after his scooter hit stray cattle while he was on his way back home.
According to the information available one Vishal Kalangutkar a journalist from Nanora village in Bicholim taluka died in an accident after his scooter crashed against stray cattle.
He was immediately rushed to Bicholim Community Health Centre in an ambulance by his friends but he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
For the last several years, he has been working as a reporter for various newspapers. He has also been working in Nanora Devasthan for many years. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Police Inspector Mahesh Gadekar and his team have sent the body to GMC for autopsy.
