As per the information obtained under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, no NOC has been issued by the GCZMA to the violator.  The Pernem Deputy Collector and the Pernem Mamlatdar were asked to de-seal the hotel within 48 hrs and file compliance report.

According to the GCZMA, the violator has constructed in his property much within 200 metres of the High Tide Line (HTL) of Arabian Sea as on CRZ map with permanent structures and damaging the environment. No NOC has been issued by the GCZMA and proceedings are going on before the Authority since 2020.

Further the GCZMA decided to conduct site inspection without any inspection date mentioned in the de-sealing order giving enough suspicion of whether any inspection will be carried out.
