PANJIM: The State Election Commission (SEC) has invited objections and suggestions to the draft delimitation of Municipal wards ahead of the general elections to the Ponda and Sankhali Municipal Councils.
The elections to these two Municipal Councils are due in May this year. “The draft delimitation proposals prepared by the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) will be kept open in the office of the respective ERO and also in the office of the Chief Officer of the respective Municipal Council from March 1 to 13 (except Sundays and public holidays) during office hours for general public so as to submit their suggestions/ modifications/ corrections,” said a release here.
