A security guard was found dead under mysterious circumstances, allegedly having fallen from the 8th-floor of the MVR Constructions site in Sancoale on Friday. The victim’s family has raised suspicions surrounding the circumstances of the guard’s death and demanded justice and support.
As per sources, the victim fell from the 8th floor terrace of the MVR Constructions site. This death has left locals shocked and the victim’s family devastated. The victim was a native of Jharkhand who had arrived in Goa along with his wife and children. According to the information received for the past 6 months he was working as a security guard at the MVR construction site.
The local residents claimed that the deceased might have gone to the terrace to check the water level or a possible fight might have broken between the victim and another person which might have resulted in the person pushing the victim from the terrace to death. These all are suspicions of the locals and they are not sure about anything yet.
As soon as the locals came to know about the incident and they immediately called the police and the victim’s family. Upon receiving the call the police arrived and began an investigation. Later ambulance was called to take the body for post-mortem. A probe has been initiated by the local police with regards to the tragic death and more details are yet to come.
