Self-Accident Claims Life of 52 year old Arambol Resident

Robert Celsitin Fernandes, a 52-year-old resident of Girkar Waddo, Arambol, lost his life in a self-inflicted accident. The heart-wrenching news emerged early this morning when authorities received information from the Community Health Centre (CHC) Tuem regarding the arrival of a deceased male brought in by emergency services.

Upon receiving the distressing report, officials swiftly dispatched an officer to CHC Tuem to verify the details. Subsequent investigations confirmed the identity of the deceased as Robert Celsitin Fernandes, a respected member of the Arambol community.

Preliminary inquiries unveiled that Fernandes had encountered a tragic accident while riding his Activa scooter near Gulza Cafe in Varcha Waddo, Arambol. Eyewitnesses disclosed that the accident was a solitary incident, with Fernandes losing control of his vehicle.

However, the swift actions of compassionate locals and a foreign individual came to Fernandes’ aid in his moment of need. They promptly summoned emergency medical assistance by dialing the 108 ambulance service, which swiftly arrived at the scene. 

Fernandes was subsequently transported to CHC Tuem for urgent medical attention. However, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the health center. The exact nature and extent of his injuries remain undisclosed as investigations continue.

Local authorities, under the direction of Police Sub-Inspector Pravin Simepurushkar, have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Further details are anticipated to surface as the inquiry progresses.
