A major self-accident was reported near Carambolim Railway Station Road wherein a Goods carrier truck lost control and overturned. The incident occurred on Thursday morning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
On Thursday morning a self-accident was reported near Carambolim Railway Station Road. A goods carrier truck overturned in the middle of the road. Due to drowsiness, the driver lost control of the vehicle. When the accident took place, passersby rushed to the spot to help the driver. As per the driver, the huge stones next to the road were the reason for the vehicle to overturn.
When the driver was asked about the accident, he narrated “I fell asleep while driving. The truck went out of control. When I realized what had happened, I tried to regain control of the vehicle but couldn’t do it due to the rocks on the side of the road.”
On the roadside where the accident took place, huge rocks were seen and as per the driver, the rocks came under the wheels when the vehicle was out of control. This led the truck to overturn. Fortunately, no injuries were reported to the driver.
