PANJIM: A self-employment awareness and assistance camp for the Sanvordem Constituency organised by Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was held at Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal Sabhagrah, Bagwada, Sanvordem, recently.
Speaking on the occasion Nilesh Cabral said the Chief Minister Rojgar Yojana is the major self employment loan scheme providing the much needed financial assistance to unemployed youth not just to start their own enterprise but to stand on their own feet. Appealing the youths to come forward to avail benefits of the various schemes and facilities provided by the Government, he said Government is putting all efforts to help the people. Prasad Gaonkar urged the people to take a step forward and get the benefit of the schemes to wriggle out of the situation created by ban on mining activities.
