In a tragic incident reported at Cortalim, a man from Bihar lost an arm and both limbs in a train accident, while supposedly taking a selfie at the Cortalim Junction. The Konkan Railway Police identified the man as 35-year-old Rudal Ram who lost both his legs and reportedly an arm after he was hit by a passenger train late Wednesday evening.
After being informed of the incident, PI Traffic Shailesh Narvekar who was on duty at Cortalim Bridge rushed to the site and called an ambulance. Rudal is currently undergoing treatment at GMC.
