Seminar on RP-21 to be held in Delhi

Goenkarancho Ekvot1- New Delhi will organise a day-long seminar on the Regional Plan 2021, “Imagining Goa’s Future”, on September 18, between 9.30 am an 4 pm, at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
According to the president of Goenkarancho Ekvot1 Suman Kurade the seminar will discuss the merits and Implications of the Regional Plan 2021.
“The seminar would be chaired by Edgar Ribeiro, Former Chief Planner, TCPO, GOI and adviser to Government of Goa on draft RPG-21,” she said.
Besides, S T Putturaju, Senior Planner and Head of support team for Draft RPG-21 will speak on “The basic ingredients of draft RPG-21.” Architect Dean D’Cruz, member of draft RPG-21 Task Force, will speak on “The impact and the effects on Goa’s Ecology, Environment and Builtscape if the Regional Plan 2021 is implemented” while Blaise Costabir Industrialist and GCCI Member on draft RPG-21 Task Force will speak on “The Impact of the Regional Plan 2021 on the Economic Development of Goa”.
Mathany Saldanha, former Minister for Tourism, will speak on topic “The Golden Mean between the Goa Government’s Policy and the Aspirations of the Goan people”
Dr Oscar Rebello of Save Goa Campaign and Member draft RPG-21 Task Force on “The participatory process for implementation of RPG-21 – opinions and feedback from citizens and actions by govt. thereon” and Rajan Narayan, Editor, Goan Observer will speak on “Implementation of Regional Plan 2021–through the lens of media.”
