VASCO: Shiv Sena to contest 22 seats in the Assemby elections. “There is no need for alliance as the party is strong enough. BJP has failed to solve several issues and BJP in Goa is known everywhere as a party of storytellers,” said Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut.
Raut after reaching Dabolim airport said, “Shiv Sena will contest 22 seats for 2022 election in Goa. If Trinamool Congress from Kolkata can contest in Goa, then Maharashtra is right alongside and shares an emotional bond. You have seen how well we have performed in Maharashtra,” said Raut said.
He further said that during the Manohar Parrikar’s time the BJP was against Casinos and had an agitation against it. In past several political parties governed Goa but were unable to clear the drugs menace from the state which is putting Goa in bad light outside.
Raut also alleged that although BJP took up the Casino issue and came to power but presently the same people are getting cuts from the Casinos.
