CANACONA, NOV 19
A senior citizen residing at Canacona has once again come forward to offer his ‘Xanti Asro’ premises at Dramapur along the highway for senior citizens travelling to attend the IFFI programmes at Panjim as well as the novena and feast at Old Goa.
Natividade De Sa, who owns a place ‘Xanti-Asro’ at Dramapur, annually welcomes the aged to use his place free of cost for rest and relief during their journey to and from Old Goa and Panjim.
This year, De Sa also intends to serve Kanji (pez) to travellers free of cost, besides his customary offering of refreshment to senior citizens who get tired while visiting or returning from the IFFI programmes and the novena and feast at Old Goa.
“Like me, senior citizens from Canacona, Balli and beyond in South Goa easily get tired on the bumpy roads and need a break to relax during their long journey,” says De Sa.
