Seniors urge completion of Valpoi-Belgaum route

VALPOI: Forum for Senior Citizens of India (FSCI), Sattari, has urged Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar to complete the Valpoi-Belgaum road via Pale-Chorla. 
The FSCI has submitted a memorandum to the chief minister demanding early completion of the Valpoi-Belgaum road via Pale-Chorla.
Speaking to Herald, FSCI (Sattari) President Kutboddin Mamod Khan said if this shortcut road is made worthy for vehicles to use, then the Valpoi to Belgaum road via Pale-Chorla will reduce the distance by more than 30 kms. 
Forum Secretary Haroon I Shaha said the present road from Pale-Chorla is not in motorable condition and if the government takes early action to complete the road from Pale to Jambhali Kade point and if this road is open for all vehicles, a big quantity of fuel besides time will be saved. 
“Besides, the journey for senior citizens on this road will be safer,” said Shaha.
