MARGAO: As the unseasonal rains continue, the water logging issues at the Seraulim underpass have re-emerged. Moreover, the condition of the underpass has deteriorated and is filled with potholes.
Commuters, especially two-wheelers, complained about the surface of the underpass being covered with water and that the steps taken by the authorities to address this issue are insufficient.
It may be recalled that this issue had been discussed at a recent village gram sabha meeting where the panchayat had updated the locals about its coordination with the railway authorities and PWD to get this issue fixed. It was a major problem during last year’s monsoon period.
