MAPUSA: Bardez residents are facing difficulties in completing their work at the Mapusa RTO office as the server has been down for the last four days.
Due to this, hundreds of people who have been visiting the RTO office have been forced to return empty handed, thereby disrupting their schedules given that they have to later come back for the same work. .
The lack of server connectivity has meant that no online works can be connected as well accessing data required for the completion of various works.
Sources said that due to the ongoing road work; a fibre cable had been damaged, which has caused the problem.
“For the last three days, I have made several visits to the Mapusa RTO office to complete my insurance work for my vehicle but due to the server issue, everything is stuck. What’s worse is that people are just being forced to stand in the queue for hours,” said local resident Joseph D’souza.
“On one side, the government is talking about 100 per cent digitization, however, every government office or banks seem to have the same issue,” Siolim resident Siddesh Naik added.
