Sesa Codli Mine Workers, Truck Owners Halt Transportation Over Pending Demands

Transportation activities at the Sesa Codli mines came to a standstill on Tuesday after workers and truck owners jointly halted the movement of trucks, protesting against the non-fulfilment of their long-pending demands.

According to sources, the workers and truck operators have made it clear that transportation services will not resume until their issues are addressed by the concerned authorities. The stoppage has impacted the movement of ore and other materials from the mining site.
