A seven-year-old disabled girl died of burn injuries at the home run by Sisters. The Centre for Children with Disabilities where the incident occurred is located at Old Goa. The management of the centre has said that the girl fell into the hot water bathtub when the warden had gone out to fetch more water. The child was initially rushed to a private hospital and from there was taken to Goa Medical College and Hospital. The girl had 79 per cent burn injuries and died at the GMC at 2 am on Monday.
The Old Goa police have booked a nun and a 48-year-old helper of the academy in the case.
