CALANGUTE: The Anjuna Police have recovered the head of a person allegedly murdered in Bicholim. The head was found washed away at Chapora jetty on Thursday. The locals alerted the Anjuna police who rushed to the site and took possession of the head.
Meanwhile, one leg was also found washed away at Camurlim which was later taken into possession by the Mapusa police.
Police suspect that these body parts are of Ratan Karol, a resident of Tivrem Marcel, who has been missing since December 17.
A missing complaint was lodged by one Bhagirath Karol, the brother-in-law of Ratan at Bicholim police station. Some parts of his body were found in Mhadai River at Pali on Wednesday while others were found today.
