MARGAO: Margao Town Police busted a sex racket and arrested two men who and rescued two girls who were being used by them for sex trade.
Margao Town Police Inspector C L Patil disclosed that the cops had come to know about the online racket and accordingly planned to break the racket.
Police arrested Santiosh Kar from Orissa and Deependar Bandari from Delhi on the Colva road where they were transporting two girls aged between 20 to 25 years to the customers.
The rescued girls are reportedly from Delhi and Calcutta and will be sent to Apna Ghar while the two accused both aged around 25 are presently in police custody.
Police also seized the I-10 vehicle in which the accused were transporting the girl’s and found that the vehicle was registered in Bicholim. The two girls were reportedly staying in Calangute from where they were picked up and brought to south Goa.
