MARGAO: The swab centre at South Goa District Hospital is likely to be shifted to the Government College of Commerce and Economics at Borda soon.
The South Goa district administration has already finalised the venue and the order is expected within two days. As a result, the massive rush witnessed at the District Hospital would end soon.
South Goa Additional Collector Surendra Naik said district administration has finalised the venue for the new swab centre at Borda. “After the meetings, it has been decided to shift the swab centre from the district hospital to the Government College of Commerce and Economics at Borda. The order will be issued by the District Collector within the next one or two days”, he said.
There was a proposal from SGDH Nodal Officer Dr Rajesh Patel and from the public as well to shift the centre to any other place.
