The Secretary of SGPDA, along with stakeholders from the wholesale fish market, recently held a meeting to address concerns related to hygiene and cleanliness in the market premises.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that the working hours of the SGPDA wholesale fish market are from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
The Municipal Commissioner (MMC) announced that starting from tomorrow, retail fish vendors who operate outside the market premises will no longer be permitted to do so. Furthermore, vehicles parked outside the market compound must be relocated; otherwise, appropriate actions will be taken.
The MMC emphasized that the wholesale fish market is situated within the compound, whereas the area outside the compound is designated for the retail fish market
