FATORDA: Goa Youth Forward (GYF) has appointed social activist Sameer Shaikh as the president of its Fatorda Block.
Goa Forward President Vijai Sardesai approved the appointment of Shaikh to the post with immediate effect.
Malik was issued the appointment letter to Shaikh on Friday, expanding the activities of Goa Youth Forward in South Goa.
Shaikh is also President of Phoenix Sports Club at Chandrawado in Fatorda.
“I have been witnessing the pace of development implemented by our MLA and party President Vijai Sardesai in Fatorda constituency,” he said.
