Sharada Mandir, Manovikas secure 100% pass result

PANJIM/MARGAO: In keeping with the annual trend, Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, secured a 100 per cent pass result in the Class X exam of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), with Maia D’Souza topping with 97.83 per cent.

PANJIM/MARGAO: In keeping with the annual trend, Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, secured a 100 per cent pass result in the Class X exam of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), with Maia D’Souza topping with 97.83 per cent. Manovikas School, Margao, recorded the same result, with Cheyenne Orione topping with 96.83 per cent.
The ICSE results were out on Friday. Out of Sharada Mandir’s 162 students who appeared, 136 scored distinction, with 76 students scoring above 90 percent. There were 26 who secured first class.
“The school got a 100 per cent result this year too,” 
vice-principal Auria Fernandes told Herald.
In the ranker’s list Maia D’Souza was followed by Sakshi Prabhu who scored 97.5 per cent. Three students – Shivani Mishal, Avantika Velo and Aumkar Shah – secured third place all scoring 96.83 per cent. The fourth position was shared by Riya Chopda and Ishanvi Kamat scoring 96.33 per cent each.
Meanwhile, Manovikas School and Manovikas Higher Secondary School also recorded a 100 per cent pass result at the ISCE and ISC exams respectively.
For the ISCE results at Manovikas School, 64 students secured distinction, while 15 got first class. Cheyenne Orione topped with 96.83 per cent, while Aditi Rajeshwar Naik was second highest with 95.38 per cent.
For the Manovikas HSS ISC results in the Science stream, seven secured distinction and 12 secured first class. Carvalho Divina Anvable topped with 87.60 per cent, while Indrani Sen was second highest, securing 83.80 per cent.
For Manovikas HSS ISC results in the Humanities section, two students secured distinction and three got first class. Vidhi Mahipal Jain topped with 77 per cent, while Tanya Rodrigues stood second with 74.60 per cent.
