VALPOI: If the Paikool bridge collapse incident in Sattari was a wake-up call for authorities, there are reasons to believe they might still be in their slumber. A culvert at Shel-Melauli is in a dilapidated condition, and if locals are to be believed, it may collapse anytime during this monsoon.
The culvert connects Shel-Melavali, Dhade, Sacordem, Guleli and other hamlets. Locals have demanded immediate repairs of the culvert.
