SATTARI: Under the Green Goa Plantation Initiative, Shel-Melauli villagers planted around 50 plus medicinal and fruit bearing saplings at the site that was proposed for the IIT project.
“Under the Green Goa Plantation Initiative, we have planted the saplings of lemon, guava, jackfruit, pineapple and other medicinal plants on the land which was proposed for the IIT project,” said Shashikant Sawardekar, a villager.
