PONDA: Industries Minister Mahadev Naik launched various development works in Shiroda constituency.
At Musher area in Panchwadi panchayat, Naik inaugurated construction work of a gutter costing about Rs 10 lakh. Panchawadi Sarpanch C D’Costa and panchas were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Naik said the Panchwadi Panchayat has been developing since 2007 and hot mix carpeting of only four-five roads is pending and it will be taken up soon. The tender of three roads has been already issued.
In another programme at Borim Panchayat, Naik inaugurated hot mix carpeting of internal roads at Shirshirem-Borim. Panch Tulshidas Gavde and other panchas and citizens were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Naik said the Congress government neglected hot mix carpeting in many areas of Shiroda constituency, which has been undertaken by his government now. “Street lights will be installed near Top Cola Borim to Sidhanath Parvat by using latest modern technology by spending about Rs 3.5 crore,” he added.
