MARGAO: Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai has informed that the Raheja Developers will be issued show cause notice soon based on the petition received by him from Carmona panchayat.
The Raheja developer will also be issued directions to keep the work on hold in interim period. Carmona Panchas led by Alwynn George met the Town and Country Planning Minister earlier this week and urged him to stop the work of the project.
The Town and Country Planning Minister had promised action after examining the issue.
He had also made it clear that there were some commitments made by the Department by virtue of permissions.
