PANJIM: Union Minister of State for Tourism and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) North Goa constituency candidate Shripad Naik, embarked on a campaign tour in Santa Cruz Assembly segment on Tuesday.
During his campaign, Naik paid homage to the rich cultural heritage of the region by visiting various temples in the Santa Cruz area, seeking the blessings of the divine for his electoral journey.
Naik commenced his day with prayers at Shree Hanuman Temple in Gaule Bhat, Chimbel, seeking blessings for his electoral endeavours. Continuing his journey, he then visited the revered Shree Hanuman Temple in Kirlawada, Chimbel, where he immersed himself in the serene atmosphere, reaffirming his faith and devotion. The tour continued as Naik proceeded to offer prayers at the auspicious Shree Veer Hanuman Temple in Vaddy, Merces, where he sought blessings for the prosperity and well-being of the constituency and its people.
In the afternoon, Naik visited Shree Vithoba Mandir at Voilem Bhat, Merces and Hanuman Temple near GMC at Bambolim, where he concluded the campaign tour, filled with a sense of spiritual fulfilment and renewed determination.
