Shripad urges people not to visit him

PANJIM: In his first appearance since the accident last week, Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik on Tuesday urged people not to worry as he is stable and recovering well.

In a video message from outside GMC, Naik said, “My health is good and I am recovering.” He also appealed to the people not to visit GMC and as he will be discharged in four to five days.

Naik had met with an accident last week while travelling in Karnataka. His wife Vijaya Naik and colleague Ghume died on the spot while his driver Suraj Naik and bodyguard are injured and undergoing treatment.
