PANJIM: Former Director General of Police (DGP) I D Shukla on Tuesday assumed charge as member of State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA), Altinho-Panjim.
The State Cabinet in its meeting held on June 9 this year had approved a proposal to appoint one more member for SPCA by considering the workload. Accordingly, the Cabinet appointed Shukla as one of the members of SPCA. Shukla had retired as DGP in March this year.
