PANJIM: Gunaji Mandrekar from Siolim has been conferred with National Youth Award by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt India. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant took to twitter to congratulate Mandrekar.
“Hearty congratulations to NYK Panaji Goa volunteer Gunaji Mandrekar for receiving the Prestigious National Youth Award of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India. He has done us all proud,” said Sawant.
“Our friend Gunaji Mandrekar has been conferred with National Youth Award by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt India. He has worked as Volunteer for Goa unit of Nehru Yuva Kendra. His hard work and commitment towards society has got him the recognition that he deserves,” said Samir Mandrekar, BJP Yuva Morcha President.
Gunaji had earlier been awarded as best Social Worker by the State government in the year 2019. He had also worked in the Goa University Student Council 2015-2016.
