MARGAO: The Margao Town Police on Tuesday booked 50-year-old Sirlim resident Ignatius Coutinho for allegedly raping his friend’s minor daughter.
According to police, the victim’s mother in her complaint stated that her husband’s friend Ignatius, who is working abroad came to their house from October 15 to 20 and raped her 14-year-old daughter multiple times.
The child did not tell her parents about the incident then. But when she informed them about the same, a complaint was lodged immediately however by then Ignatius had left Goa.
